Neighborhood

Franklin Square is located in the Lindsay Heights neighborhood. The area is experiencing a welcome rebirth. In little more than a decade, local residents, collaborating with public agencies, businesses, and nonprofit organizations, have created a sustainable, economically stable community. The neighborhood prides itself as a leader in urban revitalization. Century-old homes have been restored, new homes and apartments have been built, social and educational programs for local youths and adults have been established, and vegetable gardens and fruit orchards have been planted. These cooperative efforts have resulted in a close-knit neighborhood of caring, proud residents.
